I almost didn't buy these because liver, kidney, heart and testicle sounded honestly kind of disgusting lol. I don't eat organs and I assumed the capsules were going to taste or smell like them. They don't. Nothing. I take two with my coffee and forget about it.
I have also bought enough "hormone balance" stuff to know better than to get excited anymore. Maca, DHEA, gummies, powders. Most of it did nothing.
What I noticed with this was weirdly ordinary. I got home from work one night, made dinner, cleaned up and then took the dog around the block. Halfway through the walk I realized I hadn't even thought about being tired.
Usually by 5 I have NOTHING left. That little moment is what made me order again.

This is probably TMI but women need to talk about this stuff more.
HRT helped me. A lot actually. My hot flashes settled down and I finally started sleeping like a normal person again. But my libido? Still basically nonexistent.
And I don't mean "not as much as when I was 30." I mean I could have gone months without sex and been perfectly fine. Meanwhile I love my husband and he's wondering if I don't want him anymore. I felt awful because mentally I did. My body just seemed completely uninterested.
I kept saying to myself, I want to want it. That's the only way I knew how to explain it.
I looked into testosterone and got overwhelmed by all the dose stuff, pellets, creams, labs, SHBG, women talking about acne and their hair shedding. I was already tired of troubleshooting myself.
This has been much more subtle. First I noticed more energy. Then I started wanting to go places and do things again. And yes, that other part is waking up too.
A few nights ago I realized I was the one who reached for my husband first. I haven't done that in a very long time.
I don't need to feel 25. I just wanted normal back.

For me it was my brain more than anything. I manage people for a living and suddenly I was rereading emails three times, forgetting normal words and losing my train of thought while I was talking.
It really scared me because I've always been the capable one. I kept telling my husband "I need my old brain back."
I already exercise. I eat pretty well. I take creatine. I sleep. So hearing "sleep more and exercise" again was making me want to scream.
I bought this expecting another bottle to sit in my cabinet.
Instead I'm noticing I'm more switched on during the day and I don't hit that horrible afternoon wall the same way. Yesterday I worked all day, made dinner AND went out for a walk afterward.
Six months ago I would've laughed if you told me that.

Second bottle is why I'm finally leaving a review.
I was worried these would taste like liver or have that nasty vitamin smell. Nope. I don't taste anything.
Two capsules in the morning next to my coffee and I'm done.
That probably sounds boring but after years of creams, supplements, appointments and changing one thing because another thing changed, boring is honestly wonderful.
I don't want menopause to be my full time hobby.

I will admit the word testicle threw me 😂 I literally said "why would a woman take that?"
I had already researched testosterone because my drive disappeared in peri but then I got freaked out reading about hair shedding, acne, facial hair, getting the dose wrong, etc.
I am not trying to become some sex crazed version of myself. I have a job and kids lol. I wanted normal. I wanted to notice my husband again and have my body actually respond when he touched me.
That is what this has felt like for me. Nothing crazy. I just feel more interested again. In sex yes, but honestly in everything.
That's what I was missing.

I used to be really strong. Not fitness influencer strong, just normal strong. Carry the groceries. Move a chair. Hike all day. Get on the floor and get back up.
The last couple years I started feeling weak and the word that kept getting into my head was frail.
That scared the crap out of me.
I don't care about being young. I care about being able to do things.
I've been much more consistent with my workouts again because they aren't wiping me out for two days afterward. I feel capable again. That's really the best word for it.

Very skeptical person here.
I have spent an embarrassing amount of money trying to fix this. Maca. DHEA. Ashwagandha. Magnesium. Creatine. "Menopause support." A powder somebody on Instagram swore changed her life.
Nothing.
Nada.
Didn't do a darn thing.
I honestly expected the same here.
The first thing I noticed was I wasn't totally useless after work anymore. Then I started waking up and actually wanting to do things instead of everything feeling like effort.
I'm not running marathons and I'm not pretending I'm 30. I just don't feel so flat.

My husband and I have been married 29 years. I love him, I'm attracted to him, we are good. But somewhere along the way we became roommates that share a bed.
He would initiate and half the time I would do it because I felt guilty. That sounds awful written out but it's true.
I didn't want better "performance." I wanted desire. I wanted to WANT him.
That's why I'm writing this. The spontaneity is coming back. I catch myself touching him when I walk past or thinking about sex before he brings it up.
That might be nothing to somebody else. For us it is huge.

Just got back from a trip with my sister and realized I wasn't calculating everything around my energy.
How far is the walk?
How many stairs?
Will I need a nap before dinner?
If we do this today am I going to be wrecked tomorrow?
I had started doing that with EVERYTHING.
This trip I just went. Walked all day, stayed out for dinner, did the stupid boat tour she wanted to do and had fun.
I didn't realize how much I had been shrinking my life until I wasn't doing it.

Skeptic. Took it anyway. I have more energy, I'm lifting again and my husband is very happy lol. Reordered.

I didn't notice some instant change like a few reviews say. For me it was probably closer to 5 or 6 weeks before I thought okay, something is different.
My afternoons are better and I don't feel as wiped out after I work out. Libido is improving too but slower.
Taking one star off because I'm impatient 😂 but I did order another bottle because it seems to be building instead of giving me a two week honeymoon and disappearing.

Mine was the "meh."
That's the only word for it.
Nothing sounded fun anymore. Dinner out? Meh. Gym? Meh. Sex? Definitely meh. Weekend trip? Sounds exhausting.
I wasn't sad and I wasn't sitting around crying. I just didn't care about things the way I used to and it bothered me because that is NOT my personality.
The biggest change for me is I'm interested again.
I called a friend last week and made plans. Me. Without somebody dragging me out of the house.
There she is.

I have four grandkids and I was starting to become the grandma who sits and watches everybody else play because I knew if I got down on the floor my knees and legs were going to complain getting back up.
That bothered me more than the wrinkles ever have.
I'm walking more, doing my weights again and just feel sturdier.
My granddaughter asked me to get on the floor and build something with her last weekend and I did it without even thinking about the getting back up part.
That's my review.

What drove me crazy was I was doing everything "right."
Protein.
Weights 3x a week.
Walking.
Creatine.
Sleep.
And somehow I was getting weaker anyway.
The same workout that used to make me feel good would flatten me and I'd need a day or two to recover.
I kept thinking what the actual hell else am I supposed to do?
I don't know how else to explain the difference except my body feels more responsive now. I'm training consistently again and don't feel like I'm fighting myself every single time.

Perimenopause turned into a second job and I was over it.
Estrogen. Progesterone. DHEA. Free testosterone. SHBG. Bloodwork. Change the dose. Wait. Retest. Try a cream. Add something because the other thing caused something.
I'm not anti HRT. It helped me with some things and I still use it.
I just did not want every symptom to require another project.
This is two capsules in the morning. That's part of why I actually stayed consistent.
My energy is steadier, I'm back to lifting and I don't spend all day analyzing whether I feel "off."
I have more bandwidth for my actual life and less bandwidth being used on menopause. I'll take that.
